Together with the apathy of the general public around the world, this has meant that the Hindus of Pakistan remain a forgotten and voiceless people. The brutality that has been melted out to the Hindus in Pakistan knows few parallels in history.
Until decent minded people across the world show concern for the fate of the helpless and speak out for those without a voice, there is little hope for the Hindu men, women and children who remain in Pakistan.
One could perhaps raise greater awareness. Maybe you might find something useful here:

Since the situation is under-reported, perhaps you should have sought out and posted some links, Excess.
This gives some insight into the history, and into what's happening. What a world!

If you do not find any link why do you automatically think it is under reported. And why do you not believe that majority of Hindus in Pakistan are living freely and have no fear.
Odd incidents are ever where in the world. But I have no doubt that Hindus living in Pakistan are far more safer than Muslims and Christians living in India. And yes that is what is never reported properly here in the west. OK these are few links about Hindus in Pakistan.

As said, this question refers to Hindus and it refers to Pakistan, so it would make sense to respond to the specific points rather than go off in tangents as is so often the case.
During 1970 and 1971, huge massacres were perpetrated upon Hindus, by the Pakistani army. A proper study into the casualty figures has never been conducted. Estimates for the number dead are up to 3 million. Millions of Hindu women were raped and kidnapped in this period. It was one of the largest massacres in recent history, and also one of the most ignored.
In 1977, General Zia ul-Haq led a military coup in Pakistan. He introduced Islamic Law, which further excluded and marginalised Hindus.
In 1989 and 1992 over 300 Hindu temples were destroyed. Many Hindus lost their homes. The largest outward migration of Hindus from Pakistan since Partition took place during these years.
Since before the end of colonial rule in 1947, the land that was to become Pakistan had a large proportion of Hindus, accounting for over 26% of the population now via, mass migration and/or genocide that figure is around 2%.

Excess....Seems its only the return to Imperialism rule (pre 1947) that can protect indian-hindus & pakistan-muslims from continually warring over their faiths. Those in the sub-continent are in a faith time-warp that they & their Gov support.
The division of 1947 (by UK) with muslims being given their own land was done for the purpose of keeping peace between Hindus & Muslims......and still stands!

Ok Sorry if I went away from the main subject.
Octavius, in 1970 and 1971 whatever happened, first of all I do not agree with your figures. Then that was a war time when India were using Hindus in East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh) to spread anarchy. I know the facts as my own relatives were butchered there by Mukti Bahini for only being from West Pakistan. And Mukti Bahini was mainly Bengali Hindu Organisation.
Now about Hindu Temples in Pakistan. Only temples that might have been destroyed are mainly those with no strong history (local temples) and in those areas where there were no Hindus for miles after partition. I will buy you a ticket and come with me to Pakistan and I will take you to a Mosque in Lahore about 500 yards from my home where I go five times a day for prayer when I am there. In the courtyard of that mosque there still is a Hindu temple. Although no one comes and worships as there are no Hindus in that area, again since after partition in 1947, just like there was not a single Muslim in Indian Punjab at that time. No one has destroyed that temple. Every one knows what happened to historical Babary Mosque in India. Oops sorry we should only talk about Hindus in Pakistan.

Keyplus, I lived in Karachi in Pakistan for quite some time. You do not need to educate me in respect of the whys and what fors of Pakistan.
By your own analogy, we could therefore say that most people in the Western world have been butchered or affected by Islamic terror organisations, which are representative of Muslims worldwide.
Its not an argument I wish to debate, and if you wish to disagree with the published figures of 1970/71 (not mine) then who am I to argue. Dispute away.

Keyplus there is a very famous muslim 'attraction' in Agra, India known as Taj Mahal visited by all faiths. I hope to all the Gods (????s - too many to list) no-one uses/abuses it over religious warfare. Have you visited it?
Can u tell me anything about a famous gigantic rock carving blown up in Afghanistan during OBL hey-day....excuse being 'it was offensive to him'?

Terambulan- As far as Agra is concerned, that is one of the wonders of the world and a very big source of revenue. I do not think Muslims will blow it as it is a heritage of Mughal and Islamic history. It has no religious importance though.
What you are talking about in Afghanistan I believe statues of Budha in Bamiyan. I would only say one thing that it was condemned every where. Mostly for the reasons that soon after Muhammad(pbuh) Islam has reached to those parts of Afghanistan and the people at that time who surely had more knowledge and stronger faith, did not demolish them so why did these people.
