Came upon this site. Just wondering is it all actually true or just this guy's reading into it for shock tactics. Also, if you watch the first clip on it I think you may want to convert by the end of it. But I do feel Jesus comes across a little bit psychopathic.

Hi Flobadob, thanks for that. It seems the person who constructed this list may have a bit of an axe to grind with the Jehovah's Witnesses. Some of it is accurate (note I say 'accurate' as opposed to 'true'), but I'm pretty sure some of it is 'bent' a little to suit the author's agenda. I really don't know where he got his figures from for the number of Jehovah's Witnesses in the world. He says there were 9105 in 2006, which doesn't seem a lot bearing in mind the effort these people make to recruit new converts. According to that, all the knocking on doors and pestering doesn't seem to be working very well, does it?

Having said that, according to the Watchtower website, 22 million copies of that publication are now printed - in over 132 languages - and one website says that there are over 1 million Jehovah's Witnesses in the USA alone - so someone, somewhere has got his sums wrong!

As for the video clip - I find that very sad indeed - and to be perfectly honest, pretty sick. Don't think I'll bother to convert!

Wiz, Presumably the things that you think they have right are the ones that agree with your own beliefs.

An accurate and very sensible observation, if I may say so - and one, which of course, as we know, applies to all the religiously minded, regardless of creed. They all disagree, but they're all convinced they're the only ones who have it right. What a sorry predicament!! :o)

It doesn't seem quite so cruel to 'sinners' as mainstream Christianity, or Islam, does it. I'll still give it a miss though - along with the rest!

As for beards, maybe it was trying to portray an authentic Jewish Jesus - wings and all! :o)

There is not much to elaborate Wiz � And yes you are right, the things I said make sense are the one Islam agrees with. And as I have said before that there is a valid logic in all the teachings of Islam. Illogical things do not make any sense in any religious belief.

Now I am sure not all will agree on one point as we are not angels and we have a free will. Any belief should make a positive change in the world and society if applied properly. Of course few will always oppose that change as that would stop them from fulfilling their human desire which if given a freedom would bring some sort of anarchy in the society. After all a drug dealer want to sell drugs and earn money he would not like a law that would stop him from doing that.

Keyplus, I couldn't disagree more. There might be valid logic in all teachings of Islam from your point of view, but I don't see much valid logic in it.

As for any belief making a positive change in the world and in society, I don't want other people's beliefs to influence my life in any way whatsoever, and I won't allow them to. Why should my free choice to reject your religion, or any other religion, bring anarchy to society? I'm a law-abiding citizen, with good moral values, and I don't harm anyone. I help my neighbours, I'm compassionate, I raise funds for good causes, I work for the community, I take care of my home and my husband, I have strict principles where children and their upbringing is concerned, so what can your religion teach me that I don't already know? It seems you think that anyone without religion is either a drug dealer, a prostitute, a drunkard, or is destined for some sort of life of debauchery or crime. Why should they be? There's no logic in that at all.
