I am a devout Christian. I believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I don't think I have ever met a true athiest. I am curious as to how you think, what do you believe will happen when you die? Where do you think the beauty that bestows us each and every day with the sunrise to the sunset came from?

I don't mind either way. It makes no difference to me and keeps you busy.
Well, still no answers.

Tigerlily, what a very kind thing to say. I'm quite touched. Thank you. x

Too difficult, Wiz.
USALady, may I just ask you, how do you think you spend your days in heaven once you have passed on and assuming you are admitted into it. Do you think it involves normal everyday activities which you would carry out daily here on little old earth or do you think things happen more magically in heaven, like you can just think things and they happen. Also, if in heaven you get a bit jealous about someone and say something nasty about them to one of the loved one that you've met up with in heaven, do you then get thrown out. Also, which loved ones do you live with in your house in heaven or does everyone have their own house or does everyone stay in the same house, do you think? Do you think you can still watch tv and if so is it the same programmes that we watch on earth or are they made in heaven and do they have to be holy programmes or can they be varied. I'm trying to find answers to these questions but no one can ever give me a straight answer. Could you please USALady, thank you.

Yeah wiz, christians!
Sorry to say this, but when threads go on this long can you really be bothered to read it all? I suppose it all comes down to some believe and some don't.
Flobadob In heaven you will get cable only. Sky will not work there as dish will not get strong signals. There would be all made in Hell or heaven programmes. You may get sports, and news but you will not get any morning time women special channels. No football at all as every one would be playing Chess. Every one will have their own houses but no kitchens as take away would be more acceptable and preferred, both side of the fence will be your responsibility. Gas will be free but you will have to pay for the electricity.

So many more things but my biggest worry is that

Men will have to bear children.
I'm not surprised that you're running away, USALady; you're obviously outgunned here.

Just for the record, the two nativity stories are so different (and mutually contradictory) that the only thing they have in common are the names of the three main characters. Like so many Christians you plainly don't know your Bible very well.

And what about those other questions I asked you?

No, I didn't expect you to answer. Religionists never do.
This post has been a very long and interesting one. A lot of people have opinions on the subject which is healthy. But we can only have opinions and beliefs nothing more. No one is in possession of any of the true facts. USALady did well by giving us such an interesting debate.

Read this from start to finish.

USALady - Pirahnas.

I am amazed at how well read so many Atheists on here are and I guess the Theists are also.
Xtians believe that jesus was the son of god but he really Is god so he said Lord why hast thou forsaken me to himself. OK, got it .

Yeah thats right, that just does not add up.
No religion adds up. They're all based on hocus pocus and superstition with not a verifiable fact amongst them.
Point noted.
Hold on a minute keyplus how do we pay for the electric? Do we have to work in heaven and if so is the same job we have when we die or is it our favourite job we ever had or perhaps its a job we always wanted to do and there's a special training place in heaven. Or else your just good at the job by magic. Or maybe its all lies and you can actually take all your money with you when you die and live it up in heaven. But it will have to run out sometime.

Just like this thread.
Flobadob We can not take this money to heaven as its value is not even stable against Euro now. Jobs will be provided and training would be given there only to keep people busy but you would have a choice if you want to work or not (you will not be forced). Just like UK style benefit system is available there, where the one who would chose not to work would be better of. However if for some reason you are not entitled for the benefit then you would be given an interest free loan.
