I can only assume that your friend isn't a so-called "famous celebrity" otherwise she'd have had no problems.
And before anyone accuses me of cynicism, there are numerous examples of these aforementioned "celebrity Catholics" over the years who have had their marriages annulled a damned sight quicker than the hoi polloi and been re-married time and again.
