I'll tell you, talking now as a committed Christian, it would be one God, as the Christian God is one, who is three. Sounds impossible, but don't forget, there is nothing that this God can't do, so that would make it possible, yes?.
I suggest maybe, an open mind, and live and let live,
Would you mind now answering my question>?.
Thanks

Excellent reasoning, Lonnie. I look forward to reading Keyplus' answer to your question now.
Ankou, just one more thing. Your ridicule of Chakka is wasted on the regulars in R&S because they are well aware that he is one of the most rational, well read, and knowledgeable contributors here. He told you that many of the atheists on this site know more about religion than the religious - and he also told you we have a sense of humour, and intimated that he was joking when he mentioned Leonardos painting. Pity you were too wrapped up in spouting your witty(?) banter to cotton on - but I thought Id mention it anyway before you make a fool of yourself here again.

Of course God has power to do any thing. But there are few things that are not Godly so God (at least the real one) would never do. Or for example do you believe God can tell lie or burgle you house? After all he has power to do any thing.
For your question I would again ask one question, People might have been given baseless information from what they thought was Islam as if we were all so sure and ready to accept what is and what is not baseless, then Islam only talks very clearly about One God and nothing added, Islam has only one Quran and Islam tells us to believe in all the prophets so no favouritism either. However if you have good reasons to believe otherwise then I would love to know but not here please as I do not want to be branded the one who change the subject of the question, so feel free in posting another thread as I would not talk about this matter on this thread and you may take it as it pleases you.

Ridiculous! If this God is what you say he is, how can you - or any man - possibly claim to know what he would do?
Thanks for your answers, especially Wiz, Lonnie, and Infundebulum, all of whom appear to have given the question some serious and intelligent thought.
I find it difficult to believe that anyone contributing to AB doesn't learn something. If they don't then they're either so arrogant that they believe there is nothing left for them to learn, or they're not as bright as they like to think they are - and really the two go hand in hand.
I have learnt a lot over the years, but my views on religion haven't changed - in fact they have been reinforced. I can understand why Lonnie says his eyes have been opened. I've found some of the posts from the religious here alarmingly eye-opening!
Incidentally, I agree with Infundebulum. Questions which could lead to in-depth debates are often lost when the thread goes off track - and that's a pity.
