The point is Jake, we might not trust the sources relating to Mohammed to be accurate, but millions of people trust them implicitly - and they live their lives by them - and because of that they see nothing wrong in marrying little girls off to grown men.
Problem is Jake – that what you are saying has been said so many times even with historical evidence. But unfortunately Naomi was present there at that time 1400 years ago and she is an eye witness so we have to agree with her.
Second problem is Jake – that Edward do not have millions followers and Muhammad does. And it is a common sense why? Because few people moved on and looked upon his whole life and then analysed controversial bits on the basis of that and made their mind. However few people’s tiny brains are stuckkkkkkkkkkkkk and can’t move on.
Third problem is Jake – that few people only agree to the answers they want to see.
Keyplus, what does 1400 years ago have to do with anything?

Which brings me back to did you google the baby gender issue yet? I've asked you several times Keyplus, but for some strange reason you seem to be avoiding the question. I wonder why?
I've not seen the link, but it's Interesting to me that ummm mentions David Koresh in her original post - the prophet Mohammed was originally a member of the Quraysh tribe in the Middle East - David's name sounds like a Westernised version of that very old name.
I imagine that Beso was being somewhat wry in saying that the only difference between a cult and a religion is popularity. I heard a very good discussion about this issue recently. There's a blog by the person concerned here: http://www.theness.com/neurologicablog/?p=1958
Jake I don't think that anyone is critical perse about Mohammed but they are extremly critical of those who to seek defend this "marriage" in the present day.
Edward I was by todays satndards a paedophile but I have yet to hear any Christian say he was right to marry a 13 year old.
