Why is it more fun to be a sinner than to stay on the straight and narrow?

ummmm, I guess it really depends on your definition of sin. Some peoples outlook is ....if its fun it must be sinful.

If you don't believe in God then you can't acknoweldge sin - hence I don't do sin, but whatever I have done has usually been fun. ;o)

If you don't believe in sin then I'd put the definition of sin as something bad. I'm a sinner....

I'm a Catholic, three kids, unmarried, I drink, I smoke, I have 'naughty' sex, I swear.....

IMO sin is being horrible to people, lying stealing cheating, twisting yourself up by wanting everything other people have and not being grateful for what you have. Is that fun?

woofgang, if you're asking me for a definition, then 'sin' is a transgression against the will of God. For example, some may frown upon ummmm's lifestyle because they think it opposes God's will - but I don't because I don't believe in God, and therefore I don't acknowledge his alleged 'will'. I think we should bear in mind that in the real world the concept of 'sin' does not necessarily equate to the concept of 'crime'. Murder is a crime - sex outside marriage is not.

The definition of sin is very simple. "Sin" is a latin word that means "without". Implicit in this definition is "without God".

I would not want to be anything but a sinner.

And the more I speak to you Naomi the more I love my lifestyle. I'm a good honest person, living with a man that treats me and the kids like princes and princesses. We have fun, we laugh a lot, we all love each other. So, I can't see the sin in it.

I know some Christians who have, in my opinion, some really unchristian opinions.

I have morals and standards that do me fairly well, I don't need a load of biblical tosh to tell me what is right and wrong.

If their was/is a god he would surely be the greatest sinner!
