Atheists have had great success in rubbishing the concept of a First Cause, i.e. God, as the prime mover and shaker of all of Creation.
Science simply says, "We don't know, but one day we will."
Sorry folks, that is simply not good enough when eternity is at stake.
So the question is, should not atheists seriously consider the possibility of God and adjust accordingly?

Is there God? I don't know, but I tend to think there isn't. One thing for sure is I exist.
Theland, the bottom line is you cannot attribute one unknown to another unknown. It's simply nonsense to say "I don't know how the universe came into being so God must have dunnit".
Theland, don’t you mean, 'Lost Cause'?

If God created man then we are His responsibility . . . I wouldn't count on it!
Who ever created whom, they have a lot to answer for . . . Hello?!

So Theland, just when exactly did this alleged all knowing all powerful creator of the universe fall mute and designate you as his spokesperson?

But seriously, who but an unscrupulous shyster would seek to capitalise on someone’s ignorance holding them hostage to their own lack of understanding by threatening them with something potentially infinitely worse then threats of death. I.e. An eternity subjugated to ones own self doubt and worst imaginable fears?

Theland, I suggest you take this message back to your misinformative associates, "Crawl back into whatever holes you slithered out of, you miserable, evil excuses for a human being. This kind of fear mongering attack, attempting to use reason against reason is simply inexcusable and unpardonable. Haven’t we got enough problems dealing with coming to grips with this reality we’ve been cast into without having to navigate the stumbling blocks of your own self-inflicted delusions?”

Just exactly who's spokesperson do you think you are anyway . . . really? Think about it!
Fortunately eternity is not at stake, what we do or do not believe doesn't matter one iota and will not effect eternity (probably).

How arrogant and stupid to even suggest that Man was created in a Creator's image. There are over 2 million different species of animals on Earth, and still counting. Humans are the only ones that are in the progress of destroying their own environment and killing others for greed and religious reasons.

I think God was an earthworm, inoffensive and beneficial to other planet inhabitants.
Oh come on Wildwood. The faithful can only believe what their book tells them. Sadly though the truth is the god of Abraham wasn't inoffensive or beneficial to the other inhabitants of this planet. Far from it.
Abraham was a paranoid schizophrenic with a fetish about killing. These days he would be locked up.
As indeed would God himself!
. . . better yet, hang Him on a cross! Oh wait . . . tried that, didn't they? Got the kid instead and made a religion of it.
.......and it didn't do the trick - allegedly.
Well, as it turns out it was all His idea in the first place, set the kid up to pay for His to own screw up, only to sneak him back into heaven before any reliable witnesses could arrive on the scene . . . unbelievable!
Sure, he set the kid up - but did the bounder actually screw up, or was it all part of the devious master plan? Mmmm.. the plot thickens..... go to it Watson, old chap!!
What plan would that be Naomi? You mean like when he popped out from behind the bushes in the Garden of Eden and said, "Gotcha!" C"> ~ <"?
Opps, . . . when 'He' popped out . . . (He's probably throwing another log on the fire as we speak . . .)
Haaa! Yes, something like that! I almost want to tell him to get a life!

And along with the log, another shovel of coal …………. :o)
Coal? Yikes! You have been a naughty girl, haven't you Naomi. Let's both pray He never finds out about nuclear fusion!
Is Theland really back - still peddling that idea of a first cause which he has had debunked for him many many times, by me at least? Oh dear.

Listen folks, Theland has only dogma . He does not respond to argument or logic, so don't waste your time trying either.
