Is there a first cause? i.e. God?
69 Answers
Atheists have had great success in rubbishing the concept of a First Cause, i.e. God, as the prime mover and shaker of all of Creation.
Science simply says, "We don't know, but one day we will."
Sorry folks, that is simply not good enough when eternity is at stake.
So the question is, should not atheists seriously consider the possibility of God and adjust accordingly?

Theland, don’t you mean, 'Lost Cause'?
If God created man then we are His responsibility . . . I wouldn't count on it!
Who ever created whom, they have a lot to answer for . . . Hello?!
So Theland, just when exactly did this alleged all knowing all powerful creator of the universe fall mute and designate you as his spokesperson?
But seriously, who but an unscrupulous shyster would seek to capitalise on someone’s ignorance holding them hostage to their own lack of understanding by threatening them with something potentially infinitely worse then threats of death. I.e. An eternity subjugated to ones own self doubt and worst imaginable fears?
Theland, I suggest you take this message back to your misinformative associates, "Crawl back into whatever holes you slithered out of, you miserable, evil excuses for a human being. This kind of fear mongering attack, attempting to use reason against reason is simply inexcusable and unpardonable. Haven’t we got enough problems dealing with coming to grips with this reality we’ve been cast into without having to navigate the stumbling blocks of your own self-inflicted delusions?”
Just exactly who's spokesperson do you think you are anyway . . . really? Think about it!

How arrogant and stupid to even suggest that Man was created in a Creator's image. There are over 2 million different species of animals on Earth, and still counting. Humans are the only ones that are in the progress of destroying their own environment and killing others for greed and religious reasons.
I think God was an earthworm, inoffensive and beneficial to other planet inhabitants.
