naomi...You have posted in a section which I don't often visit. I am anti-religious, despite the fact that I was somewhat privileged to have been educated in the Bible College of Wales. However,I would say to you " For God's sake don't let a Devil take you away from us.

There isnt really any option here of going completely. I asked the ed how I can completely withdraw but got no reply. All your posts live on in perpetuity so you may as well drop in from time to time!

grasscarp, try trolling for a while until you get banned. If that doesn't work, gatecrash the AB summer fete while wearing trousers; instant banishment is usually the penalty for such lack of taste.

AB summer fete! I never knew of such a thing. I would like to meet some of the ABers and think we should announce a venue one day and see if anybody turns up. Can you imagine a pub filled with people with little badges with their name/avatar......

grasscarp, the fete is where the ABer of the Year announcement is made. The prize is just the usual Barry Manilow CD, as they're still getting rid of the job lot they bought in 1992. There's a special number performed by the Clique demonstrating the handshake and secret wink, for the benefit of would-be members. Merciasounds will be catering.

The big hit last year was aog's impression of Hendrix doing the Star-Spangled Banner... who knew?
