This urban myth has been running for decades Phil aimed either at the drugs manufacturers or charities,cynical attitude and worrying that people still believe it. I will say that of course not every charity is run as efficiently as it could be,but one would need to analyse the accounts of each one to determine which those are. Do that if you have the time.

there was never any mention of a cure being found..just deprivation of what was necessary to get on with the job
