Had three Emails purporting to come from Amazon saying that out order is out for delivery in the next 48 hours. Odd as we have nothing on order from them. So, is it a known scam? There is a link to check on the progress of the order. Definitely not followed it.

You're right to not click on that link but I'd go into my Amazon account and look at current orders, just in case someone has managed to order something in your name.
If ir doesn't mention you by name then it will 100% be a scam.
There's no harm in checking your account but I think it's far more likely this a scam/phishing email rather than a case of someone ordering something via your account

Just had another one with a different order number. Nothing on our Amazon order list. So I forwarded both Emails to Amazon. Definitely a Scam if anyone else is getting these.
"Out for delivery" in the next 48 hours....that's one heck of a delivery round....
That has happened to me. Definitely a scam, but I did check my Amazon account just in case, but not using the link in the email!!!
Check the status of the order in the amazon website itself. You can track the order and contact the customer support to find the order when it will be delivered.
