Bt Scam Phonecall
18 Answers
Just had a phonecall from “Marvin Dell of BT Sales” guaranteeing me at least a 30% discount off my monthly bill. All I had to do was confirm my direct debit details. Obviously trawling as I’m not with BT! The number he phoned from was 0315 500125. Not had one quite like this before especially showing their number.

Oddly there are some scams that to leave their number but they cant be rung back. Their annoying calls usually have the sound of an office and then someone saying something something I dont know what as I could not make out his (its usually an "he" ) accent.
After a good Anglo Saxon oath they ring off. They are almost scams.I say "almost" as BT genuinely rung me last year when my contract had almost expired, otherwise ask them to tell you what your BT a/c number is.

Had another number now. 01419542170 Unfortunately, they were leaving a message but as I picked up before the end I never got the message, Heard something about compromised and press something so presume another scam. Fed up with this but as always waiting to hear from hospital cannot ignore every call I don't recognise.
