Ebay Account Hacked.

My ebay account has been hacked & I can't even open it to inform them, I found
a phone number but the automated message just says go to "ebay.co.uk" but I can't even do
that as every time I try the page comes up -gobbled -de-gook- I've no other way of telling them.
I went to my email account & it came up with the sign in page & I did with my usual password
without thinking. I've changed the password now, but I'm really worried about what could happen,
what do I do now? Please help me someone....Ange

Hello Tuvok & all, I've tried all day to sort this out as I couldn't sleep I tried my ipad & It's exactly the same I don't want to be a nuisance anymore, but if it is this HTML thing (sorry I'm old & tired) what would I have to do to sort it out? Pussyfoot. At 23.57 last night you posted an image of a page that you are being led to. What happens when you click on the highlighted "in blue" manage my account. I don't think that you have had your account hacked. Like all us us sometimes, I do think though that you have ignored the invitations that ebay send to update your account details. Click on "Manage My Account" on the page that you screen shot for us and if you have to get a password reset. Make sure your phone numbers are in order before asking for a reset or changing card details etc.

How do you get to ebay on the ipad?

Are you going via Safari (the internet browser) or have you installled the Ebay app from the App Store.

I suspect you are using Safari.

You said you are using Chrome - is that on the ipad or the computer?

I’m using chrome on the laptop – and I was trying to get on ebay via the address bar, I’ve just found the app and trying to download it now.

Oh god I’m crying here because I’m so relieved, it’s opened up on the ipad, it doesn't look the same but it means I haven’t been hacked then doesn't it,

Probably not, but why not change your password anyway.

Still not sure why you can't get in on the computer - you say you are using Chrome. Do you have any other browsers on the computer that you can try?

Just to be sure, check that no strange purchases have been made from your account.

My ipad is older than yours but I've just tried it in Chrom and it works ok for me.

I don’t have any other browsers only chrome.
Do you think it was that HTML thing? Would I have to get some expert to sort that out to get it back on the laptop? Ange
