Strangely enough I don't think it might be down to Messi.
Barca are having problems with left-side defence. Pep has been trying various partnerships lately.
I think he will play Puyol just for his experience, overlooking the fact that most of MU's right-sided players can run away from him now.
However, assuming Mr Scholes does not break anyone's legs I think Barca will have enough to get the job done. With two weeks of non-important games players can be rested.

I wish I could say I admired Barca but the degree to which they use their swimming bath skills makes them shameful
I am not saying all teams don't have an element of it, along with other faults, it's just the diving by Barca is ridiculous.
After saying that I recognise Messi's as one of the greats and I look forward to seeing more spectacular perfomances from him
