In hindsight......
Roy did well winning the group and taking the Italians to penalties but I can't help feeling if Harry was in charge he would've made the team play more attacking football with the players he had.

Curiously, this has also been the strategy of the England rugby team lately, and it's attracted a lot of criticism. Better teams (particularly France, Australia and New Zealand) are much more adept at passing.

the core of a really good side there...once the last of the old guard have suitable replacements Roy has a chance of building a team that might be capable of progressing... not many to replace either,,, Terry, Gerrard and Scott Parker have all been excellent but are unlikely to figure in the world cup plans Ashley cole has at least one more tournament maybe two... I don't think 'arry would have done better
