And if they do which other team will be relegated from the Premier League?

I didn't think that they'd escape again this season but they're getting results as the season comes to an end. I reckon that the Di Canio effect will disappear (if it hasn't gone already) and so Sunderland will take the drop if it's not to be Wigan.

lizards masquerading as humans?
Sorry about that, pressed submit to quickly.

It could be the Villa that sends Wigan down, it's our last match of the season !.
I hope wigan avoid the drop and i'd love to see newcastle go.
They've got the extra game on Tuesday, at home to Swansea. If they win that (And keep a clean sheet) they'll knock Norwich out of 15th. Then they'd only be a point behind Southampton and two points back of Aston Villa. The goal difference between Wigan and Villa is almost identical, so they could drag each other up the league.

It could involve West Ham and Swansea in tenth and ninth respectively. Who knows...

Wigan are at home to Swansea on Tuesday and if they win that then they'll be above both Newcastle and Norwich in the table (and possibly Sunderland depending on the result of their game on Monday); that would make it quite interesting going into the last 2 games.
we're getting good at this end of the season run in and i think we'll do it again this season, we gotta beat Swansea on Tuesday night, and they seem to be on their holidays already, so i guess its between Sunderland and Newcastle , although the cup final could be a game too far.

So, BongoFury, why can't your team get results earlier in the season to avoid having to scramble for safety in the last few games?
i guess its because we can't score goals, we create enough chances, if we'd have scored half of them we would'nt be in this positon, but as to why we leave it so late i really can't answer that, it's so frustrating being a Wigan fan

on the other hand you do get some competitive matches at the end of the season and don't have to yawn your way through a bunch of meaningless games

Fulham V Liverpool 15:00
Norwich V West Brom 15:00

going by that list of fixtures there could be more twists and turns than a twisty-turny thing
Well I just hope Wigan win at Wembley.
My sons are going to the match.
There's so much yet to be sorted out, and so many teams who could have a big influence - Arsenal to play both Wigan and Newcastle. Chelsea and Spurs still fighting for fourth place and the Champions League qualifying spot, playingh teams in the dogfight.
Yes, good luck in the final, Meg.
Thanks Tony, they live in Glasgow and Leeds now but still faithfull to the home team.
Fingers crossed!!
Meg, I used to visit Wigan quite a lot many years ago, Wigan Casino.
Blimey Meg, they are faithful fans, hope they win for them.
Wigan had a casino!! Never knew about that.
We used to go to the Grand in Southport.
LOL, it was a dance hall Meg, called the Casino Club.
