Neither did I.
Apart from anything else no one one sle would have paid his salary.
Strop over, money in the bank. Life goes on as before.
He will leave in January. :)
The whole thing was a stunt by him and his agent to garner a new deal. Typical of most of today's greedy footballers. What's really annoying is Man Utd's fickle fans now welcoming him back with open arms as if nothing has happened. He requested to leave, don't forget that. But a couple of goals and everything's quickly forgotten. Time for fans to stand up to these overpaid prima-donnas!

10 have you a link to an interview by Rooney?
Sir Alex said he had submitted a transfer request

Tbh after yesterday who would blame him
Still it's very very early days yet
Yesterday obviously proved what a one-man team Manure really are. Defence is average, apart from Vidic. Ferdinand is finished! Midfield very ordinary and Rooney is only good when HE wants to be!
The owners are getting richer, while the team is getting poorer. Simple.
I would have thought the first rule of a business is that you don't shoot your cash cow
But then maybe thats why the Glazers are billionaires and we are not
