The upcoming first legs are

Man City V Barcelona
Arsenal V Bayern Munich
Olympiakos V Man Utd
Galatasaray V Chelsea

with the return ties 3 weeks later.

On current form, will any of the English teams get through to the next round?

Man City are capable of beating anyone on their day. I'll say they will qualify. Arsenal seem to be running on empty. I'll go for Bayern. Man Utd must be fearing the worst. Olympiakos seem unstoppable in Greece, and with Man U confidence shot to pieces, I'd have to go for them. Chelsea are in good form (three goals conceded in 12 games), should be OK. In short, Man...

In short, Man City and Chelsea to progress.
Only Chelsea will go through
I thnk Arsenal will beat BM, and Barca will beat City. Olympiakos will beat ManU and Chelsea will beat Galatasaray. They're my predictions!
Hopefully all 4 to get knocked out
Horseshoes - I'll have some of what you're drinking! Arsenal to knock out Bayern Munich? No chance.
^ Don't you just love this gooners positive outlook?

I guess that comes from nearly 9 years of hurt :-)

so far, nobody gives ManU a chance, most reckon Chelsea will be ok and the other 2 are iffy at best
JoeLuke- it's about realism! And in those 8 years you talk about, you've won the astonishing total of one league cup! Go back 30 years, and you've won 2 league cups and an FA Cup. Wow! By the way is there a website www.sincespurslastwontheleague.co.uk?
53 years, JoeLuke, read it again, 53 years!
^ raw nerve ;-)

Liverpool will knock you out of FA Cup this weekend so that'll be 9 years then!
Dave what did you think of the game last night m8?
Hi Bernie. It's on another thread. Don't want to mix it up with this one, as this is supposed to be about the Champions League. Although JoeLuke seems to want to make it a slanging match! Probably because he can't contribute to a discussion on the Champions League!
sorry m8 will find other thread
Without Aguero, City do seem to be a bit wanting up front, having said that Barca are not the team of a few seasons ago, even so Barcelona over the two legs.

Arsenal... no chance! The Germans will win home and away... for too strong.

United have a chance against Olympiakos, away leg first always favored most teams, (not always) I don't think it'll be comfortable but United through.

With Dogbra going back to the bridge the 'Donkey' man will have to tolerate his fair play rule of diving, I think that's where Chelsea will fail at stopping him.

Barcelona
Bayern Munich
Man United
Galatasaray

Olympiakos will knock Manure out. They are unbeaten this season, having won 22 out of 24 games in the league. I know the Greek league isn't the strongest, but it's a lot better than it was say 10 years ago. See this as a very tricky tie.
We have a trojan though in Mr Moyes.
Yes, sent by Everton to destroy Manure from inside! And he's doing a pretty good job by the looks of it!
Please stop calling Man Utd 'manure'..............it makes you look silly and rather childish.
Lighten up craft. You know your name, just accept it. You're Manure, we're Gooners, Liverpool are the Mousers, Newcastle are the bar-codes, Spurs are the Spuds (not allowed to say the 'other' one now). Sensitive soul!
lol if you think it's clever do carry on..............
OK
