After the season they've had, it would be a travesty if Liverpool did not capture the Champion's League trophy tonight and i really believe they will. If Harry Kane is passed fit to play, surely his match fitness will mean he is less effective than is the norm. If he doesn't play, will Spurs have enough of a goal threat to match that which Liverpool possess - in spades.
It could be a very tense, very edgy and bad tempered affair, with hardly any goalmouth action but, being the eternal optimist, i am hopeful it will be a match worth watching and that both teams will score. The Reds have beaten Spurs 2-1 in both home and away matches this season and i can see the same happening here. So, @ 15/2, i have had a fiver on with Bet 365 which qualifies me for an 'in-play' bet to the same value. So, i can always switch allegiance anytime during the match, should it prove necessary.
I have also taken advantage of Willy Hill's generous 12/1 for Sadio Mane to score and Liverpool to win either 2-1 or 3-1. Just hope he lines up.

Personally I think Harry Kane is overrated, even as an England supporter but lets hope he pulls out all the stops tonight.
The most important team won today, Saracens, so I'm happy anyway (both in the sense that I'm happy Sarries won and I'm happy because much Guinness has been had!).
PS - sorry for diverting a football thread by talking about The Superior Game.
The Superior Game. Pmsl... lol good one, like it.
Aww!
He's not a happy man. Ivor Legover is definitely on the subs bench!
Drat popped to the shop thinking I'd be 10 mins max... back in time for KO. (Sixteen billion kids in front of me.... who were very polite) but come back to that... smeg!
Yeah!

How dire is this? It's like watching paint dry - and, being a painter and decorator, i know what i'm talking about. Commentator mentioned that Kane may not see out the full 90. Another 15 mins of this drivel and i won't be seeing out the 90. Haven't got a clue what to do with my £5 free in-play bet, that's how bad it is.
Agree with you Ken, its dull. Liverpool protecting their lead at least. Lets hope to see more action in the second half and reds to win.

Just used the free bet on a 2-1 end result for Liverpool. Surely 2nd half can't be as bad as the first. Can it :-/////
Nope lets not... I'm sticking to celine dion - I'm alive (heart of glass backing mash up) just to remind oneself.
Com 'on Spurs... stop messing about now!
It's livening up a bit now, but this is one of the most boring Champions League Finals I've ever seen! Dire!
Balls!
Mr T is now watching on Catchup. Please let me know how it goes in real time.
this is one of the most boring Champions League Finals I've ever seen

Totally agree.
Tottenham 0-2 fairies across the Mersey. 5 mins to go.
Pffh!
... and thats a result :-(
