Come On You Reds
After the season they've had, it would be a travesty if Liverpool did not capture the Champion's League trophy tonight and i really believe they will. If Harry Kane is passed fit to play, surely his match fitness will mean he is less effective than is the norm. If he doesn't play, will Spurs have enough of a goal threat to match that which Liverpool possess - in spades.
It could be a very tense, very edgy and bad tempered affair, with hardly any goalmouth action but, being the eternal optimist, i am hopeful it will be a match worth watching and that both teams will score. The Reds have beaten Spurs 2-1 in both home and away matches this season and i can see the same happening here. So, @ 15/2, i have had a fiver on with Bet 365 which qualifies me for an 'in-play' bet to the same value. So, i can always switch allegiance anytime during the match, should it prove necessary.
I have also taken advantage of Willy Hill's generous 12/1 for Sadio Mane to score and Liverpool to win either 2-1 or 3-1. Just hope he lines up.

I'd have rather have seen Liverpool rather than Man City win the Prem, but I'd rather see Spurs win tonight. Ignoring the fact I'm a Londoner (but not a Spurs supporter - I'm a Charlton supporter, and what a great game that was last week!), I'd rather Spurs win as the 'plucky underdog', plus I think Liverpool will win the Prem next year and it's the Prem I think they really want.
Ive had 3 Spurs supporters here this afternoon. One of them set up to TV so Mr BM (die hard Yid) could watch it. Now it wont work. Thankfully he has found it on You Tube.
I am going to sit in the garden and drink cucumber gin and provide solace where needed.
But secretly I love Harry Kane, and I'd like to see THFC come thru. Plus of course then my luck might be in ;)
