Has the cheating Portugeezer been at it again? UEFA are to investigate late sending-offs of Alonso and Ramos in the match at Ajax, meaning they miss an unimportant group match rather than running the risk of missing out on a last-sixteen knock-out game. Banged to rights, isn't he?
Tactical nous..........wasn't one mr Beckham accused of something similar once... it happens....still the longer he stays in the tournament the better he makes things more interesting
Jose Mourinho is one of the best Managers in the business ! Even as a Liverpool fan I must admit that, and he knows pretty well what he's doing !!! :-))
It is called Legalised cheating !
Truth is, I prefer to watch a side that doesn't have to cheat its way to titles. And, for most of the years I have followed Chelsea (thats Chelsea, joeluke) we have been mediocre at best, so winning nothing is not uncommon to me.
The solution, once again, lies with UEFA - why don't they just cancel out the carrying over of yellow cards, once the group stage is complete ? If a player gets a red card in the last group game, then that should be carried over.
It's called 'working the system', Mourinho is just one step ahead of other managers and others will follow suit now by getting players to do this to avoid suspensions
