Yepp......looks like it.
Has that defender swapped shirts with the Goalie ? Could not be more blatant without the Ref seeing it, dear oh dear !!!! I would have awarded a Goal and no Penalty !!!!

How did the ref and linesman not see that!
What a cracking save though. Lol!
that is a brilliant save, maybe he's the 2nd choice keeper and thought he was playing in the sticks lol.
dunno what the officials were doing though.
Did you look at this link in the side menu ...

The guy who committed the handball ... who should have been sent off ...

... went on to score the winning goal !!!

LOL, LOL
Sign him up for Brighton as your Goalie JJ !! lol
... but I think that somebody or other was probably offside, so the goal wouldn't have counted.

Isn't that the offside rule?

If you wear a green shirt, you have to stand closer to your opponent's goalkeeper than the referee?
We're still doing okay, redman, actually ...

... although we're not as far clear as we were before Christmas.
Ref only does it Part Time, his full time job is as Optician with Specsavers ! :-))
jogger - thats just ironic with him scoring the winning goal, it happens a lot where a player should be sent off and they turn out to be the difference at the end of the game
Do you always get sent off for a handball ?
no but if its like that where you've stopped a certain goal then yes it is.
Oh, I see.

Thank you.

x
Handle mine all the time JJ.......never been sent off yet !! lol
Oh, purleeez !!

LOL
if i was him i'd have just let it go in as i couldn't get my head to it but i prefer to play it fairly and within the rules.
It was probably just an instinctive reaction.

However ... he could have held his hands up to it.
he could have done but that is called "sportsmanship2 which is in low doses within football.
only sportsmanship i can remember is di canio catching ball instead of shooting at goal cus a player was down hurt (opponents) and he got booked!!!.
robbie fowler admitting a penalty awarded wasn't a penalty and stuck it wide as the ref wouldn't change his mind (in his liverpool days).
and a cup game where a game was abandoned at 1-0 so the manager of the other team had agreed before hand to let them take a 1-0 lead at kick off as that was the score.
