I was on holiday in the IOM with my mum and dad, I think it got to No1.

sat through the last hour of the prog, if they edited it better we could have heard all the songs, without voice overs and such.

I agree baza that's why I recorded it. I do that with all these type of programmes. I was really surprised at some of the results. His big hits were in the early half which to me didn't make sense.

Yes trt there was an awful lot of flannel in the programme. I think I condensed the programme into 50 minutes!

Went to a pub quiz last week.....twenty or more questions about Elvis songs.
Wish this had been on before....we wouldn't have come second... :-(

Well done gness for coming second, that's not bad going. I don't think this programme would have helped, most of his best ones wee in the early half of the show, made you think what was coming later.

Caran...we missed the winning prize of wine by two points but if I had known one more Elvis song we would have had £250..... Ah well.... ☺

I loved his version of Are You Lonesome Tonight when he gets the words wrong about I looked at my forehead and wished I had hair. That was hysterical, he couldn't stop laughing all the way through it, best corpsing ever.

I saw it too, wasn't he just wonderful, took me back to my youth and I was bopping about the bedroom, luckily Mr N was in the front room watchsing golf. I think he really did love Priscilla.

I thought he said forehead but the narrator said bald head, elvis was so funny when he was laughing.

I watched Elvis last night. Elvis Costello, BBC4. fabulous voice :o)
