Have had a look through today's runners and have made my choices. Doesn't seem 5 minutes since last year. I had a nice little double up at the weekend so it is free all week.
Murillo @ 7/1
Goldream @ 14/1
Rivet @ 22/1
Beyond Conceit @ 8/1

£1.00 E/W Acca. 25p E/W Lucky 15
Total stake £9.50.
May have a look at Nootka Sound in the last.

After nearly 4 hours of studying the form and the stats i cannot get my shortlist for each race down to less than 3 or 4! So, once again, i'm not expecting a great deal from today's activities and will be pleased if i break even;

2.30; Santry @ 6/1 (Rev f/c It Dont Come Easy)
3.40; Naughty Or Nice @ 8/1 (Rev f/c Alluringly)
5.00; Sabador @ 16/1 (Rev f/c Indian Dandy)
5.35; Atty Persse @ 15/2 (Rev f/c Sofia's Rock)

Win/e.w. singles (quite a decnt punt on Atty Persse!) and also 20p lucky 15, 50p e.w. acca; 4 winners = £7,317, 4 placed = £30.

Can't really see past fav in 4.20 so have had an e.w. on Sweet Selection @ 16/1 and have done a Rev f/c in the 3.05 with Orderofthegarter and Day Of Poets. Placepot numbers; 14-11-9-9-18-12

Be lucky, chaps (and any chapesses):-)
Try again; Placepot numbers are; 14, 11, 9, 3, 18 & 12. (Had a 150/1 outsider in the 4th leg in the above post!!!)
As i said, quite a decent punt on Atty Persse and, to be totally honest, that one winner has not only saved the day, but has probably saved the entire Ascot festival. PHEW!!
Had a few places yesterday so getting there slowly but surely, today's EW Heinz is
2.30 Different League
3.05 Best Of Days
3.40 Blue Point
4.20 Tomyris
5.00 Alqamar
5.35 Top Tug

Good luck all

Morning all, still in hospital waiting for the consultant. No paper yet to study, but have had a look online. Will post some picks later.
Hope you get signed out in time for the 2.30, Togo:-)

There are, according to the 'experts', 3 good things at Ascot today - Alpha Centauri, Carravagio and Winter - but, while Winter looks a 'shoe-in, the stats are against the first named and the 2nd named looks best with some give in the ground. So, i've opposed both and if the experts are right, then so be it:-//

2.30; Fairyland @ 9/1 (each way on Ertiyad @ 16/1)
3.05; Permian @ 7/1 (Rev f/c Crystal Ocean)
5.00; Time To Study (Rev f/c Belgravia)
5.35; Appeared (decent win single) @ 7/1 (Rev f/c Wadigor)

4 winners = £4,448, 4 placed = £35.
Also a win single on Harry Angel @ 10/3 in the 3.40 and a straight forecast, Winter to beat the French horse in the 4.20.
Placepot; 9-9-4-7-12-10

Best of luck, chaps

We are on, got home 15 mins ago.
Alpha Centauri @11/4 2.30
Permian @13/2 3.05
Harry Angel @3/1 3.40
Time To Study @15/2 5.00
Mainstream @5/1

£1.00 E/W Acca. and 20 Super Yankee 26 bets Total stake £7.20.

Before I came home the nurses asked me to give them a few tips after they had noticed that I had racing on yesterday, and was studying the papers this morning. So I gave them the treble Permian, Time to Study,& Mainstream. 4 of them had a whip round and phoned a bet through to a husband of a friend who works in a bookies. The other guys were laughing their heads off and the consultant thinks that I am a bad influence, but he did have a rare smile on his mush.
You really shouldn't be telling the folk on here (some of them, at least) that our poorly paid nurses can afford to have a punt, Togo. Their heads will explode:-). Wouldn't like to be you if your tips go down the pan (bedpan?) and you have to go back in any time soon. They may take the wrong organ away!!
of course you're a bad influence Togo, would have you any other way :-) xx
Glad you are home, please take care of yourself

FIL had a flutter yesterday, 5 horses and not one of them mentioned. (I blame the bookie's runner i.e. me)
oh fer pities sake, would NOT have you etc etc :-D
I found a new system ... working in the garden with eldest lad and let him pick my bet.

I'm not sure I'm happy that it won tbh.
Did you have to pay him commission Talbot ? :-)

Might suggest that method to Mr Alba, but it won't work for my FIL as Mr Alba is the eldest son
Togo..you shouldn't be getting yerse' all excited..you are post operative..put that telly off..and rest..go on..I'm watching !
Just the one winner, once again. Decent price though and definitely softens the blow. Thought i had the winner of the last until the 20/1 outsider hit the front. Hopefully do better on the final day, fingers toes and eyes crossed.

2.30 Westerland
3.05 Mythical Madness

5.00 Normandy Barriere
5.35 October Storm

Good luck all
