Hot on the heels of Cheltenham comes the Aintree Festival which kicks off at 1.45 today. There looks to be some tasty races to enjoy, though, from a personal betting point of view, there are only 2 handicaps, one of which is the minefield that is the Foxhunter's.
There are 5 from Aintree in the ITV7 (begins with the 2.20), one from Taunton and one from Ffos Las.

Ken, I had £5 E/W on 2nd place. What will my return be please?
Well done Ellie. If the price you had was indeed 15/2 as was the finishing price, and the bookie was paying a fifth of the odds you will have £12.50 back. I was "opeless". Ahh well said the soul. Always next year.
Great day for jump racing. At the presentation J P McManus showed real good grace despite his undoubted. However that dreadful little man O’Leary looked a right scruff.
Thanks Togo, when I put the bet on the price was 10/1
*His undoubted disappointment *
If you took the price, and they were paying fifth the odds for a place, then you have £15 to come.
JP has always been a class act grumpy. The harder he worked the more classy he got. No one worked harder.
Thank you Togo, as you may have guessed I only bet once a year!
