Just a reminder for punters that the Willy Hill Racing League (round 3) takes place tonight at Newcastle. First race is at 5.45 and there are 7 events in total - all live on ITV4. There is also an ITV 7 with a prize of £10,000 up for grabs.
If the first 2 rounds are anything to go by, it's as much an evening of fun as it is attempting to take money off the bookies:-)

5.45; Trinity Girl @ 7/1 - 4 places
6.15; Tregony @ 5/1 - 5 places
7.15; Honky Tonk Man @ 4/1 - 5 places
8.15; True Mason @ 8/1 - 5 places
20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £21, 4 winners = £2,802
6.45; Menai Bridge @ 7/1 - 5 places
7.45; Minnesota Lad @ 10/3 (BB) - 4 places
8.45; Stone Circle @ 9/1 - 4 places
50p Patent, 50p Treble, £1 e.w. Treble. 3 placed = £9, 3 winners = £712.
All above in ITV7 - £1 e.w. acca. Also done the Placepot.
Best of luck if you're punting.

Another 3 hours of excellent racing, some great interviews by the '3 Amigos' - particularly the one with the Newcastle clerk of the course and the one with young Grace McEntee.
Managed to nab 2 winners so more or less broke even, which is a bonus:-)
Don't know if you watched it spice, but if you did, the workings of it would have been explained to you by Chappers and the crew.
The prize money on offer is enough to guarantee some really good horses (and Jockeys (Frankie, for instance) taking part which, in turn, makes for some very competitive races.
Roll on Round 4 on 1 Sep from Windsor.
