Owing to the abandonement of a couple of meetings, today's ITV7 has become an ITV5 carrying a jackpot of a mere £1k.

If it wasn't for the fact that we bid a very fond farewell to Frankie, today, i don't think i'd be bothering with this meeting. As it is, i'll most likely pick 3 or 4 for a small-stakes bet.

While i wish Frankie all the luck in the world, i just can't bring myself to include more than one of his rides in my little Trixie/Treble - though i do have his first ride in my placepot and another as the first leg of the ITV5;

Also done a free £5 bet on Vintage Clarets @ 10/3 - don't really believe it will appreciate the heavy going, hence the use of the free bet.

Wonderful Eagle, Docklands and Sugarpiehoneybunch in a Patent and 2 x e.w. trebles for a poss return of just over £1K.

Uncanny. How do they manage to pick both abandoned meetings? They didn't even look like the best of the racing anyway? Like you Ken no real enthusiasm for the remaining races so just a punt on the 5 at Ascot with an aim to get a bit of E/W value. E/W Super Yank and singles as it plays out. Good Luck.
