Anyone been watching it? Is it any good, I mean is it worth watching?

Just accept the womens game for what it is. Lets not compare them to the mens game - thats unfair.

These are the best women players in the country, so lets get behind them.

JTH may not like the comments of some other posters, but as this is subjective I think people dismissing women's football is perfectly acceptable.

If they don't like it because they find it amateurish then that is absolutely fine and dandy - it is not, as some people appear to mistakenly believe, a form of misogyny.

I find that women playing what are generally considered men's sports - football, rugby, cricket etc... - pretty poor.

This is not to say they shouldn't play them, and I wish them all the success they no doubt deserve, but personally I find it rubbish to watch because the level is poor compared to the men (I know people will say you shouldn't compare, but the fact is it is impossible not to).

rowanwitch mentioned women's rugby and said it was better than the men's. Personally, I felt she was so wide of the mark it was laughable. Men's rugby is infinitely better.........in my opinion.

Plus the viewing figures and attendance figures speak volumes.

You have to be fit in order to play for your national team. Oh well maybe not darts, but usually.

The exception which proves the rule mark. The attendance figures for most league games for women's football can be measured in the 00's not 000's.

I did see the two goals scored earlier in the week top notch by any slandered.
I'm not keen on women's football but lets hope they put the lads to shame and win it!
