How's this for an idea? We have quailifying as now for the first race. For all the other races they start in reverse order of their current standings. What do you think?
When the F1 comes to Silverstone, let's see that Boat Race idiot, Trenton Oldfield, run on the track in front of the approaching cars! That should make F1 more exciting.
If they start in reverse order, is there not more chance of accidents at the very start since the slower or less skillful ones will be in front of the faster and more able drivers?
My partner thinks it's a brilliant idea but should be done like British Touring car races where the top 10 only go in reverse (the argument being that if you put the last people first they are so slow it would be dangerous at the start??)
I've long thought that your suggestion was the only way to make the thing the least bit interesting. The current way of doing things is a bit like giving Usain Bolt a one metre start on all the other runners in a 100 metre race.
