I did not think Mikel was spanish
Just to clarify that- the second letter was an A not a W
But wouldn't that have been to Torres?
Question Author
thats whats confusing, as we all know mikel isnt spanish. and how on earth is tw-t racist anyway?
Oh, I assumed piggynose meant TART
Question Author
so spanish tart is really abusive?
I think it might be the 'spanish' part that was racist
Smacks of desperation to me - and by Chelsea of all clubs
I meant to add that we will all see what happens after the report
Another mountain out of a molehill imo, it's getting ridiculous.
This is not the first time Chelsea have done this there was a ex ref on talksport this morning they said the the same about him after a Chelsea Spurs game, he was completely exonerated by the FA, can't recall his name, are they trying to deflect from their own wrongdoings?
are they trying to deflect from their own wrongdoings?

Of course they are its so typical of what Chelsea and some supporters have become. (Other clubs as well I might add)

the ref was poor, are all those players so innocent they don't call him anything.
tit for tat... so bored of it. before long reports will be that "he didn't say sorry for scoring past us"
why do they even bother with a referee - it would make the game "fruitier".......
lol... it would indeed... comparing different coloured footieboots etc.

Playground name calling, shouldn't even be newsworthy, just like the Terry/Ferdinand spat
Can "Spanish" amount to racism?

Spanish is not a race, it's a nationality.
Can "Spanish" amount to racism?

SImple answer is yes, if someone said to me 'you English Snag' I would automatically think they were racist.

I never get this .....they are not a race.
Is spic a race? Is calling someone a 'spic' a racist slur?

//you English snag//

... is racist ???

What if they omitted the "snag"?

Would "Hey, English person" be racist ??
