Which is better PDC or BDO? I've been told the PDC is better but dont completely understand why if this is the case why don't all players play in it and not some?

BDO was for many years the main body in darts with all levels of players, the PDC was a break away group of the top plays who wanted a bigger slice of the cake ( I thinks it was driven by Barry Hurn and Phil Taylor) so yes PDC has a better grade of player, but would not survive long with out the player coming through the ranks of the BDO
