It couldn't have happened to a more deserving bloke...What was that he said? "I don't care who wins the world cup - as long as it isn't Britain"..A bit like Fergie saying "never again will we be beaten on goal averages" (Still waiting for that to happen though).

Give it a rest.....the bloke wins gold at the Olympics, followed by the US Open title, then loses in the next Slam final.......you should be so good at anything.

cor you are going back a bit. I think he has grown up quite a lot over the last 12/24 months and shown quite a different persona. Certainly went up in my estimations when he won the olympics and his dedication to friend with cancer.
At the end of the day he is british and he is winning things and only lost today to the nember 0ne seed.
