what if he's got rabies ?
No Chilli - you missed my point - Both Liverpool and Spurs are both one man teams - and the one man at Liverpool is no longer Stevie G
Bazile - incredibly human to human transmission of rabies has NOT been described - even tho the virus can be detected in human saliva at times (obviously they have to HAVE rabies for this to occur)

I suggested to a fren' that we went out to lunch
and he said yeah why dont we go to Liverpool for a bite ?

yeah OK
and finally not for the last time: criminal acts CAN be committed on a playing field - that is agreeing to a game is not consenting to being beaten up or bitten. so why doesnt someone arrest and charge him ?

Sorry Chilly.....trigger.....go to Body and Soul.
@Peter Pendant

I see you've taken my ' question ' seriously

It's not as if he has ended anyone's career ala Roy Keane
-----------------------------------------

Oh dear, I sense a 'defending the indefensible' in the offing......

I see his captain too is a beacon of hope. When interviewed by Sky he said (and I'm paraphrasing) "Dere's good and bad about Luis Suarez and as eva people wanna focus on the negative but yer not gonna get not'n arra me in dat respect".

A leader of men.
Chilli....the guy is worth £30 million.............you can''t throw that sort of money away.

I reckon he'll be gone in the summer. The Septic's(owners) didn't like the negative publicity and constant, against-general-opinion blind loyalty shown to him by King Kenny and he was 'moved on'.

As this time it's all his own doing and further tarnishing their global image I reckon they'll step in again somewhere in the not too distant future.
Didn't see such an uproar when that ugly little git from Argentina drove without car insurance.
The problem is how to provide an effective sanction in this case.

It's pointless 'fining' a multi-millionaire player.

Suspending / firing / selling him affects the club and supporters, but not him as he is a talented player and will be bought elsewhere.

What might make a start is for people to stop trying to brush this off as if it's some kind of high-spirited horseplay.

The Liverpool chairman referring to 'the lad' sends out a wrong message as well - Suarez is 26 years old and a multi-millionaire profesional sportsman, not a naughty boy who has misbehaved at a Sunday morning game in the park.

While there is so much money invested in a player like this, there will be no meaningful sanction because Liverpool, and the wider football comunity are keen to brush it aside and carry on.

The message which Suarez, like so many young men in his profession, is that he can do exactly as he wants, on and off the field, and the word 'No' is not something he needs to trouble himself with, because he never hears it.
Well said Andy.See that idiot Poyet is saying people are hypocrites for talking about serious punishment for Suarez, didn't think it would be long before Poyet crawled out of the woodwork to defend him.

Here's a good one for Suarez's scrapbook.

triggerhappy - using that logic means that no player need ever be sent off for a dangerous tackle, because 'it's not as if he broke the guy's leg ...'.

Get real!
Question Author
It was stupid but let's get some perspective, he didn't break the guys arm.

As expected, suspicions confirmed.

I take it you don't concur with the thoughts expressed by a couple of former Anfield stalwarts who have a high regard for the club they played for.

This is most barbaric behaviour and in my view needs a lifetime ban - it's about time "celebrity" status stopped conferring approval on vicious behaviour.
Take his teeth out!
make him play wearing a muzzle................
