Potted version ...
After a very happy relationship with Brighton ...
When we are on quite a high ...
He announces publicly that we should not count on him being there for too long...
We, and the Brighton Board, all go ...
"WHAT???"
Then ...
The Club suspend him, because you can't build a stable club around a manager who's told the Press he's thinking of leaving ...
Big argument ...
He gets fired (no big deal, as he was planning to leave) ...
He tells the Press he is suing Brighton.
So, after what was a pretty successful time at the Club ...
He can just sod off ...
And happily, Sunderland is a very long way away from Brighton.
