Kopend would I be right in saying this team will have played in all 4 divisions, also do you mean different opponents / teams my first guess would be Ipswich
I'd guess a founder member of the football league who've played the majority of their history in the lower leagues. To be honest I can't be bothered checking!
I don't see it that way Sipowicz a team who has spent most of there time in lower leagues, will only have played lower teams, by the same token teams like Arsenal Everton will have only played top teams, I remember Ipswich under Sir Alf Ramsey whent from 4th to 1st and back again so will have played a lot of different teams
Yes Mick, but he hasn't specified different opponents.
I think Kopend needs to clarify the question.
Yes,hopefully he will get back to us i do like the question.
If I had to guess, I'd go for Coventry City. They are the only team in history to have played in the Premier League, Divisions 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as Division Three North AND South.
I reckon it's Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Been in all 4 divisions a few times and were found member in 1888.
I saw them play Crawley Town this season and they also added Milton Keynes and Stevenage to the list.
