I didn't actually see the Red Card being given Ken I saw the incident when Messi was brought down, but due to some circumstances I was unable to pay attention to what was going on or being said on screen - but thanks for making it a bit clearer.

I saw the penalty which it was
I did see movement of the shirt which I can assume was being pulled in some way but at the point of the card being issued I wasn't there.

I said there was a shirt pull not Queenie. Having watched the highlights there was no shirt pulling, Michelis has form, I watched him play in La Liga, not exactly shocked by the red card! I did see some shirt pulling though during the match
That was a penalty and Cesc' s goal was not offside. City will have a very hard row to plough at the Camp Nou and the return of Aguero is no biggie, he's played there many times, didn't exactly set the Heather alight back then

Barca, the away team were the better side on the night and scored two goals which seem to be the bottom line.

It was a penalty in my opinion, but was brought down on the line being tripped, nothing to do with shirt pulling.

Barca won 2-nil without really getting out of 2nd gear

City have a long way to go before they can be a Champions League force, the game reminded me of one of Man Utd's early Champions League games when they were outclassed and stuffed 4-nil by Barca.
