I think he has a good shout at making the final but hard to see him winning the thing. In recent seasons Murray's played well at Wimbledon regardless of how he's done earlier in the season, and his run to the semis at the French Open bodes well.

Interesting stat: excepting the year he was injured, Murray has never failed to match or improve upon his previous year's performance at Wimbledon. Ever.

Slightly off the subject but I have just realised that Andy Murray has not, in fact, split up from his girlfriend. The other week I was a train, sat next to a large party of women who were discussing tennis. The subject got on to Britain's No 1 player and that he had split up from his girlfriend. It was quite amusing, because his approval rating in the conversation immediately started to plummet on this "news". And then of course somewhat inevitably there followed "he hates England" stuff, by which time I think they were ready to burn him alive.
Anyway, good news that they were talking nonsense and good news about the new coach. Don't think Kim Sears needs to worry there from what I recall :-)

I agree. Federer is fantastic to watch. As is Djokovic but Nadal just annoys me with his twitching and pulling his shorts out of his nether regions!!
