Congrats to Ricciardo but we are back to Hamilton/Rosberg again.
To be fair to Toto Wolff he did not hold back when interviewed and has clearly blamed Rosberg for the incident that ended Hamilton's race and effectively won the Championship for Rosberg.
Lauda too very vocal in his condemnation.
Monaco was bad, the last race caused more of a rift, the cynical view now is that Rosberg is blatantly cheating his way to the F1 title.

How does that and any personality failings Hamilton may or may not have excuse Rosberg blatantly cheating his way to this years title?

I use the evidence of my own ears. Lewis keeps on saying I, I, I, when he should be talking about team, team, team. My brother works for McLaren so I have a little inside knowledge of Lewis's antics. Believe a Hamilton doesn't change it's spots.
The lads at Woking had a bloody big party when Hamilton left......as Angie will confirm.
Too right Bright Spark.

Like I said Shoota... you're either pro Lewis or vehemently Anti Lewis
Shoota.....track Hamiltons racing incidents over the last 5 years and then say he's a fair sportsman. He will go the same way as Webber, post multi 21.
Slapshot is right - Hamilton polarises opinion like no other driver it seems. However, in today's race, Hamilton didn't do anything wrong. He got the better start and Rosberg was too impatient. Rosberg's mistake was to supposedly admit deliberately hitting another driver, which will probably see him punished in some way by the authorities. I don't see how the Mercedes team can fix the problem now as both drivers seem to think the other has overstepped the boundaries. Looking forward to the next race!

I'm with shoota et al. I don't care about any supposed failings or fallout after his time with McLaren, he is currently one of the top 3 drivers in the world, hence he is a very focussed and driven individual.
As a driver, he has always been within the limit IMHO. Yes, he goes for gaps but gaps that are actually there, it's just that he's the only one with the cojones to go for it. He's hardly a Grosjean or Maldanado.
Rosberg yesterday was idiotic and spiteful, pure and simple.
Lewis had the racing line, Nico was never even close.
As for Lewis not following team orders he was 100% correct in Hungary. Nico wasn't within 1 second and both are going for the championship, why should he just move over and let Nico have a free run at the title, unchallenged? Nico only made the request because he was whining and couldn't pass under his own skill/speed. If he had been all over Lewis's gearbox and was obviuosly faster then fair enough, but he wasn't - end of!
Nico has had more than the rub of the green this season and benefitted from some very dodgy decision making that bordered on cheating. He looked so disingenuous today after the race it was palpable.
Lewis meanwhile has been hugely unlucky, had to fight and battle all the way this season and is still just in contention thanks to pure grit.
Had the roles been reversed I would imagine Nico would have thrown the teddy and gone crying to the hierarchy.
Lewis has just got on with it and stayed focused in extreme adversity.

Rosberg lost a lot of fans today IMHO and showed his true colours i.e. win at all costs, cheating being one.
I hope the stewards take a look at his driving, demeanour post-race and comments.
He has a case to answer, not just to them but to the sport. He isn't showing any of the class his father had in abundance.
What my learned friend ^^^^ said!!
I take on your points Chill,however...they were both racing for the gain,so seriously would you clip your team mate in the left rear on purpose, knowing he had a 50/50 chance of damage...but you would have a 100% chance of wing damage with a resultant 1 second per lap loss with 8 or more laps to go and an extra 10 seconds on your stop whilst waiting for a new nose.
A racing incident fair and square. Any penalty imposed by the team towards Rosberg will be served only to appease Hamilton....and stop him crying his little eyes out!
You just have to look at the replay of the incident - Rosberg clearly turned the wheel twice, hitting Hamilton on the second turn. He was never more than a foot alongside Hamilton, and had no chance of overtaking.

Hamilton was in the lead, and was going to streak ahead as usual and lead to the end.

Rosberg saw his chance and did a Schumacher. If both cars had gone out, he would have saved his 11 point lead and stopped Hamilton getting ahead.

ven......with seven races to go ..I dont see your reasoning.
lol dougie....lets torture some innocent fish trying to get some food...to make us look the big man!!

But Lewis hasn't been crying, has he? Nico was bitching in Bahrain about Lewis on the team radio when all Lewis did was out drove him to victory.
Then he was moaning in Hungary that Lewis wouldn't let him past, when he had no right to because he wasn't fast/good enough, besides parking his car at Monaco to stop Lewis getting a better time.
And to top it all off he basically admits to not avoiding a collision when the onus was on him to do so.
The only one 'crying his eyes out' is Nico and he's done it in full view of the racing world, either by his actions or his bleating on the team radio.
Lewis has done none of those things.
Chill......at least Lewis's 'innocence' in the matter will make his 29 point deficit feel more bearable ;-)
As I said before, it's nice to see so many unbiased views!
There's 'Sportsmanship' and there's 'Gamesmanship' - Rosberg is trying to claim the 'Gamesmanship' card on a move that was 100% never going to do anything other than knacker Lewis's car. Shame on him, and good on Wolff for showing his true feelings on the matter.
Glad Ricciardo won this one, what a charmer!

Lewis is clearly the better driver, that's why Nico has to resort to cheating in Monaco, causing a collision in Hungary and constantly whining on team radio.
He can't out-drive Lewis in a fair race, he knows it and so does the paddock:

Chill...if Lewis is the better driver then please explain the big difference in 2014 pole starts....or is that the fault of someone else also..:-)
