Roy Hodgson
In view of the diabolical England performance last night, I don't think it's sufficient for Woy-Boy to resign.......................
Us England fans will only gain any satisfaction if he commits Hara-Kiri on the roof of Wembley stadium.....................(oh yeah and he can take Rooney with him)

Rooney scored from the spot but after that his passing was atrocious; Harry Kane scored 20 odd PL goals last season but couldn't hit a barn door if he was sat on the latch-key in this tournament. The usually reliable Joe Hart let the second Iceland goal squirm from his grasp, and the defence could not cope with the most basic of tactics - the long throw. If one or two under-perform, the manager can cope by using his subs. But when a whole team forget they (supposedly) have kicked a ball before, what can that manager do - whoever he may be. No doubt these same players will soon be over their humiliation and will be strutting their stuff in the Prem again this coming season whilst being hailed as 'greats' by our press.
I don't follow football ( thought I'd start of with that) but what irks me the most about this is that a team of English hero's flew back on 26th ( I'm talkin about rugby here!) And hardly any press coverage, we played amazing we showed the world ( mostly Down under perhaps it's too far away for anyone to care) how well England can play and mostly the sheer grit and determination to win. Perhaps football could do with a rugby manager...could that work? ( if it can't and I'm talking nonsense please refer to my opening statement )
england were the only side to be 100% in qualifying, bu when the competition got going we had stage fright. we were atrocious in our crossing and corners. the work off the ball was severely lacking, too many people crowding us we were attacking well until the final 3rd then we didn't have a clue. our defence was not any better the 2 iceland goals were only scored by incompetence and bad marking. e.g why are two strikers (rooney and kane) taking long free kicks and corners? they should be in position to do what they are supposed to do best putting the ball in the net. multi-lingual roy couldn't coach properly in english thank- whoever he has gone.
