but if you watch all 4 parts of the video, theres a hint of envy to the point of assault in training at real madrid!! if this hadn't happened who knows what he could've acheived!! i'm happpy to say i was there in 77-79, and seen most of his home games.

yes he died in a road accident, its mentioned in the laurie cunningham story made in 4 parts, which you'll find on youtube.
its a bit unclear how he died, apparently they say he was driving on the la coruna road in madrid, when a car in front of him had a blow out, but due to the speed he was driving he had no chance, plus he wasn't wearing a seat belt, so went through the windscreen
