Well it seems like only yesterday that we were starting last years meeting. I have had a scan of the papers and web sites and have picked my horses for a little punt. The ones that I have marked * I will be putting in a Lucky 15 and I will do the first 6 choices in a Placepot and Jackpot tote bet. The pick in the last race is either a get out punt or an enhancement of the success already enjoyed(fat chance). Ah well no cigar today. Will have another punt tomorrow, same sort of strategy. I don't suppose I can do worse than today. I was given a tip, last week, for Prospectus in the Fred Winter tomorrow, so will have a closer look at it particularly if Ruby Walsh has taken the leg up as was hinted by my source. Will post my ones to avoid in the morning. Well done Bernie at least you are showing a profit.

Decided to go against VVM in the 4.10 and had a tenner on Apples Jade and a £5 rfc with VVM, ended up with £120 profit on day one so happy days :-)

One of the guys on the acecaller forum made a good argument for Labaik in the first, yesterday, (he also tipped up 2 other big priced winners - which iignored:-//) so i had a small e.w. on that @ 33/1. Together with my 5/1 winner and a straight forecast on Altior to beat Cloudy Dream, i ended up in pocket on day 1. Now for day 2;

Morning Ken and Bernie, well done Ken it looks like I need to buck my ideas up. haha. As I have said I really do punt small but a touch is always a nice one if infrequent. I do so enjoy the "game" though and the replay facilities on line or on tv make it great to watch later if you want to do something else whilst it is live.
