World Cup Rugby Semi Final
Lions v All Blacks.
Very enthralling match so far. New Zealand don't look as assured as they usually are and our guys must sense they have a real chance of making the final. Pity about the disallowed try, though:-(

Both Wales and RSA will have looked at the way England dominated NZ today and have had an audible gulp.
Barring a disaster England will win the World Cup, even against an improving and bruising RSA (I can't see Wales beating South Africa - they were poor against France plus they lost one of the world's best fullbacks for tomorrow's game through injury).
I can't decide what I want more - for Wales to lose tomorrow, or for us to beat them in the final should they manage to beat RSA.

Superb defence and Young's disallowed try was a try - that was an All-Black hand in there.....Man of the Match was spot on in Itoje and, for me, I said it last week, Tom Curry for Man of the Series.....but there were so many good performances....Ford and Farrell as well.
I gather the French Monsieur Plonqueur Sebastien Vahaamahina, the red-carded No8 has announced his retirement. If I was Macron, I would have extradited him.....

I love this game with an all encompassing passion, and I really miss playing it. Stopped playing in a vets side a few years ago as my body just couldn’t take it any more, so now my Sunday mornings are vested in my son who is turning into what appears to be a half decent number 11 (or as a mate of mine says, that means he can’t pass or tackle!).
Can’t wait for tomorrow morning.
This has been a great World Cup. My only regret is that Japan aren’t in tomorrow’s semi, although that regret is tinged with a bit of relief as they wouldn’t be able to beat Wales.
