The own goal was going in the net anyway regardless of whether it made brief contact with the Danish player. Sterling definitely didn't dive. He was helped to fall and England were awarded a penalty. The better side rightfully won and its been a huge morale boost for our country. Well done, England. I'm prodigiously proud of you and will be right behind you this...

I know nothing about football and I absolutely abhor the rough culture that’s attached to it ….. but I love my country and the Cross of St George is flying from our flag pole - so all I can say is COME ON ENGLAND!!!
Who reviews the replay and decide yay or nay ?

He or she was certainly on the England side

Nevertheless , what the records will show is that England won

Now - can England clear the final hurdle ?

I wonder what the records will show
Nice one Naomi, now have a pint of wifebeater and let's find a phone box to vandalise. ;-)
After the last 16 months of lockdown misery this country needed that.
hopeless, Mozz... nobody likes you but you don't care...
Tut! Blast me and my euphoria! Even a killjoy like you, Mozz, must admit it does have a bit of a reputation though.
That's not very nice, jno. Poor mozz.
Oh really? Thanks for the explanation, jno. Mozz, you're off the hook.
And adopted by many others, Jno.
I'm a Spurs fan jno, those Millwall and Chelsea fans have had it in for us for decades lol.

I'm no killjoy Naomi! I was cheering with the best of them lol
Ken, it's always the case, anything classy quickly goes viral.
I am not a football fan but congratulations to England. It will cheer people up when they need to be cheered up.

Classy and Millwall simply does not compute. Last time their fans came up here, there was lots of broken windows, lots of arrests, lots of blood spilled.
boys will be boys, Ken.
Mozzz....I thought Arsenal was Spurs biggest enemy (I'm a Gooner)
@[email protected] here in Scotland it is when Celtic lose it is a case of"women watch out".
well done England, i didn't watch but so glad for you and the country. Its about time we had something to cheer about.........
Ynna @23:43 - The way Celtic played last season the Scottish lasses must be black and blue.
I cannot help but feel that Southgate is an abysmal manager blessed with an abundance of good players.
We win despite the manager, not because of him.
I fear player Italy. Mancini is a far better manager, and that might be the difference in the final.
