No wonder this person won. What a shame for all the women who have spent years training for events like these - they must be wondering if it's worth continuing. High time to make all sports only open to those competing in the sex they were born with, and create a totally separate 'trans' category.

What he means is after a week of people suggesting that men should not compete in women’s sport.

//The UCI requires transgender women to suppress their testosterone levels to 2.5 nmol/L for a 24-month period prior to competing in female events.//

Unfortunately they do not require them have the muscle mass which they accumulated during puberty as a male surgically reduced. Anyway, no need to worry. It seems a number of women cyclists are simply walking away from the sport (or should that be cycling away?). So soon the men who have declared that they are women will have the sport largely to themselves.
I despair. Madness.
I don’t know how that person has the brass beck to stand there smiling in triumph. That’s not a win. It’s a farce.
Maybe there's more to this Sustrans lot than meets the eye.

What a travesty. The government or sporting bodies must bring in some new laws or the resentment of genuine athletes will become serious.
