Tennis players aren't paid by the hour.  They're paid by their ability to win.

The US Open has paid the same prize money to male and female players since 1973. Wimbledon has done so since 2007.  The WTA is committed to ensuring that there's equality woldwide by 2033:

How those two matches are equal is beyond me

Well if Zverev can't finish or play good shots........

Don't get me started on Norrie who fell to pieces in that the break!!!!

If someone worked for four hours and got paid the same as somebody doing the same job for 59 minutes, not sure people would accept that without complaining

It's not hourly pay, it's prize money. All winners in the men's matches also get equal pay for matches of unequal length; indeed, some don't need to play at all, if their opponent retires. For some reason, though, that part never gets the same attention.

A woman won a tennis match at the fourth round of a Slam. So did a man. In all that matters, therefore, they are equal. So, too, are their winnings.

If not their strength, physique or stamina.

Otherwise, level playing field.
