Modern life. Go to an event, a gig, the theatre, these vacuous morons, sorry patrons, stare blankly at their screens, keeping up with their "socials".

I went to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre last year. I mobile kept going off. Finally a rather terse voice said, "It's your mobile".
