Jude Bellingham may be a good footballer but why on earth did he have to make an obscene gesture in front of millions of TV viewers. These footballers are supposed to be role models for our future young players and if that type of disgusting conduct is acceptable then we are in a sorry state.

Did you miss my post where it said it was a stupid thing to do, douglas?

Was he suggesting with the gesture that the Slovakians were a team of fellators?

If so, he's clearly lacking any spirit of sportsmanship.

Good Morning,

If Jude Bellingham is banned from playing any further games in the Euros tournament then his goal should also be disallowed.

No, I didn't.

//If Jude Bellingham is banned from playing any further games in the Euros tournament then his goal should also be disallowed.?

Eh? So replay the match or extra time and penalties? Should they go further back and disallow his group game goal too?

I think a likely outcome is that he'll get a hefty fine - probably a day's wages.

Okay, having now seen it I stand by my previous assessment. Molehill. Mountain.

It was a stupid, rude gesture made in the heat of the moment.  He'll probably be fined, but if he misses a match, so be it.  I'm sure he'll be more circumspect in the future.

Are you Scottish by any chance?

Link .... are you implying he is capable of recognition ?

I think you're crediting him with far more grey matter than he actually had !,

If Billy Shakespeare were alive today, he'd probably write a play about it with a catchy title. Something like 'Much Ado About Nothing'.

Desperate stuff Mozz71.

Good Morning,

Thank you for your responses, I was less than a minute off of winning a considerable (for me) sum of money on England losing.

My answers were in reply to questions asked about what he had done and also the interview he gave afterwards.  It may be 'Much Ado About Nothing' but it sets a bad example to youngsters.  I suppose in football it doesn't matter what you do really as with Zouma of West Ham who kicked his cat I see they made him captain of the team.

DDIL, I knew there had to be an ulterior motive!

Just showing where his brains are located, so nothing to see here

My interpretation is that he was showing that he was good and had some balls. It was a distasteful thing for him to do. He is like some others who are overpayed and arrogant " i can do what i like" prima donnas.
