With the usual big pay-off, no doubt.  Managers never really lose, do they?  He'll reappear in a couple of months managing somewhere else and the merry-go-round will continue.

A long time coming, with the talented players he had... just couldn't get them playing as a team as a tactician was useless... no idea of why the subs he made... It became more of a chore to watch United not the enjoyment it should be even if we losed.

Well Ruud van Nistelrooy taking the helm as interim...Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did well in that role.. but really who to bring in?

Had to happen.  Not happy he's gone before the next match on Sunday, as Van Nistelrooy will almost certainly get a much better performance from the team.

No idea who the board might be considering for the job.

I was just thinking they should've pulled out all the stops bought Cole Palmer brfore he signed a new contract for the Blues. He single handedly tore us apart last season with that 4-3 thriller. Mind you Erik would've left him on the bench.

Anyone else suspect that RTH's possible/probable sacking is the reson RVN went there in the first place.

As Arky says, OGS made a good fist of being onterim manager and got the job on a permanent basis. RVN will no doubt be hoping for the same good fortune.

OGS had a great start as interim winning 9 of 11 games... and did quite well IMO but the wheels steadily came of the bus during the Pandemic etc... no excuses. He did take us to the Europa final which went to peanalties and every outfield player scored during sudden death... until it came to the Goal keepers... David de Gae fluffed his up.
