Murray made his so called anti English remark a few years back in a lighthearted interview immediately after Scotland had failed to qualify for the World Cup (again!).
It was very much said tongue in cheek but was leapt on straight away by the tabloids who chose to brand him as a hater of England and all things English.
He lives in London with his English girlfriend.
He is a quarter part English with relatives from Newcastle.
He supports two football teams, Hibs and Wolves.
He regularly wears a Wolves football shirt given to him by Englishman John Lloyd (of tennis fame).
If that's symptomatic of an England hating Scot, then I'm a Chinaman(as the old saying went).

I have friends who are Scottish and they don't like Murray.
This has nothing to do with the English hating the Scotss.
It is Murray who is non charismatic, no personality, arrogant and just happens to be Scottish.

Just remember that Murray plays tennis for himself, not the Scots, the English or the British.

How heartening to read that people arent partial to him as they dont like his personality rather than he is a 'Jock' not a term that I would suggest should be used in Scotland btw :) Even worse than being called English lol.
Im not whining to whoever said that -i'm toying with all the sheep -baaaa -well cant get to see the tele just now -so making my own entertainment -mwah to you all and enjoy this ace weather and lighten up xx
