The first 11 minutes were great...

True but that's not enough is it?
wasn't a wipe-out, it was very close but England couldn't finish their attacks.

Fair comment, but why?
dunno. They blamed it on Ashton's 'inexperience' but I would have thought if he was that inexperienced they shouldn't have selected him. The rain seemed to have an effect, it was like trenches in the Somme out there even when it stopped.

True, it was bucketing down.
substituting Tyndall off seemed a bit bizarre too, when he was attacking strongly. But Martin Johnson's mind is hard to read.
Ref was bent, ignored French transgressions at the break down, punished ours, had no idea about scrummaging. See the papers in the morning, they'll say France hung on and the ref was on another planet. Being from NZ he also did not understand scrummaging. 12-10 a wipe on your planet is it? what a titfer tat! Did you actually watch the game? listen to the commentary? best stick to poof ball mate if I was you.

Typical isn't it, If England had won like this J Arthurs like you would be slagging them off for narrowly winning.
Just been looking at the BBC spot site:
"France edge England to seal Grand slam"

"France complete their ninth Grand Slam after pulling off a narrow 12-10 win against a much-improved England in Paris. "

Hardly a wipe out.

Yes credit to the French for engineering a victory in a difficult game. All I'm Saying it that if we did that we'd get slagged off for winning "Artificially".
